Let’s talk about gun safety.
The firearm is inherently a dangerous weapon.
However, its fatal nature can never be administered without human interaction. It has no will of its own.
You can easily test this for yourself by placing a loaded weapon in a secure place which no one has access to. Leave it there.
After any duration of time check its condition to see if it has in any way changed. This test should prove that it’s our will and our intentions that determine its use; good, bad or indifferent.
We stay safe using these rules:
1. Treat all guns as if they are loaded.
2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target.
4. Be sure of your target and what surrounds it.
