Congratulations to Gigi Simmons for passing her Black Belt test for Sho Dan in Asayama Ichiden Ryu!
Asayama Ichiden Ryu is a classical Japanese Jujutsu.
This has been quite a journey and we are so proud of her accomplishment. Gigi began training in the traditional Japanese martial arts of Ninjutsu and Jujutsu in 2008 with Sensei Brian. In 2015 she began her journey into teaching the martial arts. In 2016 she achieved the level of Black Belt Candidate in Ninpo Taijutsu. She has continued to expand her training in Bojutsu and Kenjutsu as well.
She will continue to study Asayama Ichiden Ryu, while she continues training and assisting with teaching Ninjutsu and the stick arts in Kukishin Ryu at Shin Gan Dojo in Liberty Hill, Texas.
