Words can never truly repay the incredible debt we owe to the men and women who laid down their lives for our freedoms. But here at Urban Defense Academy, we believe that through our actions, by living with fortitude, refusing to take our liberties for granted, and honoring the vision they fought for, we can strive to keep faith with their ultimate sacrifice.
This Memorial Day weekend, we chose to honor that spirit by putting ourselves to the test at the Rifleman Roundup. We tackled a 6-mile run-n-gun biathlon with 6 rigorous shooting stages.
We will be the first to admit: we are not elite endurance athletes! But that is exactly why we do it. It isn’t about being the fastest on the leaderboards; it’s about getting out into the elements with fellow shooting enthusiasts and testing the absolute limits of our endurance, our skill, and our gear.
The camaraderie out on the course was incredible, and it was a powerful reminder of the strong, resilient community we are so privileged to be a part of.
